Can I recommend Ian, GM3SEK's 'Clean Up Your Shack' advice.Noise creeps in and I have a broadband noise belch that is on 30m at home but most other bands are thankfully pretty quite. But then again HF is pretty quiet all the time where I live at the bottom of a valley. The post on Ian's site is mainly to do with the mains filter (https://gm3sek.com/2019/10/11/clean-up-your-shack-2019/) but the video is the thing to watch reallyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSL1h6MJ

My remote station SO5CW is pretty quiet, there is very little local noise. But I noticed on my 30m QRSS/WSPR grabber that the noise level always rises by a few dB when I switch on the remote stuff. This is caused by a power supply for auxilliary devices that is only powered when the station is on. I will try if I can "tame" it with appropriate filters at the DC output, or replace it if I fail. #HC25S @hamchallenge
