2025-02-10 21:44:20df7cb@mastodon.social7Success!I wanted to test the new fldigi version 4.2.06 before uploading it to #Debian so I jumped ahead to #hamchallenge HC20S and decoded the DWD RTTY transmission on 10100.8 kHz.Reception there was a bit thin, but the text told me to go to 4583 kHz instead:CQ CQ CQ DE DDK2 DDH7 DDK9FREQUENCIES 4583 KHZ 7646 KHZ 10100.8 KHZRYRYRYRYRYRYRYZCZC 351 FQEN70 EDZW 102000NILNNNN@hamchallenge

2025-05-14 00:24:17ei7ijb@mastodon.radio6Working on it...For the 20th challenge, 'Decode the RTTY transmission of DWD on 10101 kHz’, I will have to check. I have heard of RTTY but not about the 10101 kHz transmission. #hamchallenge HC20 @hamchallenge
2025-05-14 22:03:28DJ5CW@social.darc.de17Success!I must have heard the RTTY transmission a million times, often using it as an indicator for how long the skip is on 30m. Today I finally decoded it for the first time with fldigi, with the settings described by @ian in his blog (450Hz shift, 50 bd, 5N1). I was not patient enough to wait for an actual weather report, though. #HC20S #rtty #fldigi
