Create a 3D printable design related to ham radio!
If you have never created a 3D design before, you may want to get inspirations at Thingiverse, where you will find a lot of existing projects with the Ham Radio tag. 2025-01-05 22:59:43stu@gott.social10Working on it...Follow up to the #3DPrinted printables #977882 single lever paddle: it works surprisingly well! Actually kind of mind blowing. Things I've learned: ... I know what my design will be for #HamChallenge HC43
2025-04-13 23:20:53M0CUV@mastodon.radio2Success!I’ve been designing some 3D printable mounting brackets for Yagi-Uda antennas. They accept 2.4mm TIG welding rods on a wooden boom. Current build is for 868MHz, but can be adjusted for different materials. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7000767 and https://mattgumbley.wordpress.com/2025/04/04/building-a-high-gain-yagi-uda-for-868mhz-lora/ HC43S
2025-05-15 22:10:48yo3gnd@mastodon.radio30Working on it...hey @hamchallenge, I started working yesterday on #hc43!
2025-05-23 18:17:03yo3gnd@mastodon.radio30Working on it...#HC43 is proving trickier than I thought #HAMChallenge What I want so far:- single and double version- nice finishes- should work with both Anderson and chinesium powerpoles- easy to assembleWhat would be really nice:- hidden wago inside the assembly- easy to undo and use as standalone wired connectors (in case an upstream cable goes bad)
